This Grade II listed cottage dates back to 1825 and once housed families working in the city’s famous framework knitting and lace industries. Now, it offers a truly unique stay for up to ten guests across five individually designed bedrooms.

The home’s interior is a rich mix of moody colours, plush fabrics, and curated vintage finds. Think velvet armchairs, bespoke wallpaper, soft lighting, and dark wood beams. In the bathroom, you'll find an indulgent freestanding copper bathtub set into a serene alcove—perfect for relaxing after a day exploring the city.

The lounge area is ideal for socialising with friends or family, featuring comfortable seating and a sophisticated cocktail setup. The dining space flows into a fully equipped kitchen with boiling water tap, dishwasher, coffee machine, and all the crockery, utensils and cookware you’ll need.

Upstairs, five elegant bedrooms offer a variety of sleeping arrangements including king-size, double, and twin beds, all with high-quality linen and blackout curtains for a peaceful night’s rest. A washer-dryer, iron, board, and hair dryer are also provided for your convenience.

Guests have exclusive access to the entire house. The property is located via a private gated courtyard accessed from Brewits Yard, just below the Fothergill’s Architects Office (17 George Street). A key safe is provided and the main door uses a smart lock—full check-in details and entry codes will be sent before arrival.
